Creativity often chases and translates emotions, of whatever color and nature they are, and artistic expressions reflect the hidden turmoil of our subconscious. This is how different expressive languages are born, in my case painting and poetry, whose common aim is always to try, in some way, to bring to light and communicate the varied states of the soul.
It happens that even the sun, sometimes, gets distracted and for a moment absentmindedly turns away, leaving pieces of each individual's existence in the dark. At that point it is easy to lose your path and lose sight of the horizon.
My expressive journey seeks to explore in aesthetic terms the eternal contrast between order and chaos, between instinct and reason, in the persevering search for balance. A search that finds its existential parallel in the life of each one of us and is reflected in the reality that permeates us, manipulates us and makes us unique human beings with different characteristics and visions.
The search for balance as an indissoluble constant. Balance between complex, contrasting and sometimes indefinable states of mind that clash in a metaphorical test of strength and trace the path of each individual.
I therefore seek an aesthetic balance in the surreal vitality of pictorial abstraction that seeks to express its essence. In this sense, contrast between apparently distracted, vivid or melancholy colours and forms, mostly geometric, which try to define and circumscribe instinct and dream, the irrational and the passionate.
Shapes and colours together, therefore, aggregated in harmony, acquire meaning and dimension. Used and modified, they are born and change until they manage to communicate their spirit, their essence.
Then the ritual is complete. The achievement of a precise balance.
